Fred D. Reynolds
Fred joined Howard Ecker + Company in 2013 based out of our Chicago office. In his 21-year career as a general contractor and real estate developer, Fred has successfully completed the construction and/or development of over 30 million square feet of industrial/commercial buildings on 4,000 acres of land in over 70 different municipalities. Fred’s real estate experience encompasses site and facility search and selection, sale and lease negotiation, due diligence, government approval process, land acquisition/disposition, building demolition, brownfield redevelopments, infrastructure, park development, new building construction/development and building disposition.
Prior to joining Howard Ecker + Company, Fred was Senior Vice President of Development for CenterPoint Properties Trust for 15 years. CenterPoint is focused on the development, acquisition and management of industrial property and transportation infrastructure that enhances business supply chain efficiency. Prior to that Fred was Senior Vice President at FCL Builders, a Design Build General Contractor specializing in office, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution real estate properties.
Over the years, Fred’s industry affiliations have included: Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), Member; National Association Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Member; Choose DuPage, (DuPage County Economic Development) Board Member; Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and Past Chairman.
Fred graduated from Loyola University of Chicago.
Fred and his wife, Dee, live in Western Springs. They have two sons, Joe and John Paul.
