Peppercorn Capital LLC, a Chicago-based real estate investment and development company, recently purchased the Trainor Glass Company showroom on the corner of Lake Street and  Sangamon. The firm closed on a lease that includes three separate 5,000-square-foot-buildings located at 939 W. Lake Street for Chicago-based tenant, Minimal.

The design company is moving from its current location of 1032 W. Fulton Market, and is looking to showcase its designs in the property’s corner showroom.

Peppercorn Capital adds Minimal to its list of tenants, which includes from the past and present: 37 Signals, Sprout Social, AnswersMedia, Crate & Barrel/CB2, Binny’s, Goose Island Brewery, Goodwill Industries, Harpo Productions, Israel Idonije’s Blessed Manufacturing, The Animal Care Center of  Chicago, IDEO, Caremark, MBM Jewelry, eSutras Organics, Ignite Network, Berkshire Hathaway/Kale Uniform, Warner Bros. and Herff Jones.

Tenant representation firm Howard Ecker + Company was pivotal in helping secure Minimal as a tenant. Led by Vice President Valentine Ecker Klutznick, the Howard Ecker  + Company team involved in this transaction also included President and CEO Howard Ecker and Chief Operating Officer Pamela Parasugo.
